Chocolate Delores … the name says it all – chocolate cakes that are glamorous, fun, completely luxurious – and totally delicious!

Lizzie began making cakes for her family at the age of 10 and over the years her reputation grew, especially as she would happily turn up at parties with a beautiful birthday cake, ready to start the celebrations!!

All Lizzie’s cakes are hand made to order using the best quality organic, Fairtrade and local ingredients, the main one being a delicious 72% dark chocolate. Also in the mix are Fairtrade sugars rich in molasses, organic butter and milk and free-range organic eggs and flour. Once baked and cooled, Lizzie soaks the cakes overnight in Port. They’re then layered with Madagascan vanilla buttercream and her own homemade plum jam. After that, the fun really starts and using white, dark or milk chocolate, Lizzie sets to work designing the cake of your most delicious dreams.  If this is whetting your appetite, don’t worry, as on the day of the show, you’ll have a chance to have a little taste yourself.  I’m drooling while writing this!

I’ve been a fan of Lizzie’s cakes since I first saw them in a magazine so I was thrilled when I met her and realised what a fab lady she is and how passionate she is about her work.  She’s a real pleasure to work with and her imagination never ceases to amaze me.  Everyone has a favourite design but I’m currently completely blown away by her latest hearts, flowers & cherubs cake and I just want to shout to everyone about it!

You’ll love meeting Lizzie too – she loves getting to know new clients and I can guarantee she’ll put 110% effort into your very own designer cake which will wow every member of your wedding party!

Oh – and if you’re looking for wedding favours or unique Bridesmaid’s gifts don’t forget to look at her stunning glamorous chocolate stiletto shoes – ALMOST too good to eat!
